Celebrate the start of the 2024 membership season with your long-time SMSC friends and the club's newest members!

From 1-4pm take a private introduction to sailing lesson with a learn to sail coach on a double-handed dinghy. Register for one of the three time slots via the “Try Sailing Day” link found here.

Kids entertainment follows from 4-6pm. We have glitter tattoos, ice cream snacks provided by the club for the kids, and a cotton candy and popcorn truck for everyone as parents see fit!

At 5pm we will have a special presentation from Billy Gooderham, Canadian Sail GP Flight Controller followed by a Q&A session. This portion of the opener is open to all with no registration necessary.

The remainder of this event is open to members and invited guests. Advanced ticket purchase is required.

Our barbecue is from 6-7pm with burgers and hotdogs (GF and VT options available, select at checkout), before we start jamming to live music by Rob Francis and enjoying some drinks together in the clubhouse.d
