Join us Saturday, February 15th, for a post-Valentines Day dinner to remind us that love lingers on beyond one day of the year. Your hosts for this evening will be Michelle Currie, Lauren Wentzell, Sara Moffatt and Brenda Mailer.

Cocktail hour begins at 6pm. We will ask everyone to be seated at 7pm. Then we will serve dinner to your table.

Not everything goes as planned. The wind was not in our favour for “Love to Linger On”, so we decided to bring the pasta down to the rocks on Friday Night.

Join us for a romantic-ish pub night at SMSC. We’ll do our best to make your evening unique.

This is not a ticketed event. Simply show up.

We will have limited quantities of our Spaghetti and Meatball dinner. Dinner will include a Caesar Salad, and a Chocolate Brownie dessert. There will be a vegetarian option available. Dinner comes with a complimentary glass of wine. $25 per plate.

If you simply want to show-up and enjoy the evening without dinner, you are more than welcome.

We are excited to launch our Adult Board Game Night this Thursday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm! This is a great opportunity to unwind, socialize, and enjoy some friendly competition with fellow members. Leigh Downey will be your host and Volunteer Bartender.

This will be a space for members to engage in strategy games, party games, and classic board games.

Ladies, please join your host Lauren Wentzell for a monthly Women’s Book Club at SMSC. Books will generally be about politics, relationships and women's issues. Literary enthusiasts will explore novels chosen by group members that are accessible and entertaining. Our Women’s Book Club will meet the first Thursday of each month beginning this Thursday, February 6th at 7:00pm. The bar will be open and snacks will be provided. If you cannot make the first meeting, join next time and get the reading list to join in on the fun!

Celebrate Chinese New Year’s at SMSC

Make your plans now to join us on Saturday, February 1, 2025 for SMSC’s Annual Chinese New Year’s Event. This ever-popular event sells out fast, so get your tickets early and plan to join your hosts Gretchen and Mike Amirault, Lorraine Helson and Michelle Lane for a delicious Chinese meal.

Hot appetizers will be served at 6:15pm, followed by dinner promptly at 7:00pm. Dinner includes Bok Choi Salad, Asian Noodles, Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin, Hot Rice and Desserts. Tickets are $25 per person and must be purchased no later than 5 pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Please advise us of any special dietary needs in advance and your hosts will do their best to accommodate

We will have a 50% off special on the red wine Torre Zambra Madia from Italy, sold by either the glass or bottle.

Members are invited to our annual holiday party.  There will be activities for kids of all ages and the bar will be open for the big kids at heart.  The afternoon will start off with holiday crafts, cake decorating and a Taylor Swift themed dance party. Pizza will be served between 5:00pm and 5:30pm while a classic holiday movie will be projected on the big screen for the whole family to enjoy - Home Alone.

This is event is free for members.
