Mark your calendars now for Bay Wind - SMSC’s annual dinghy regatta for young sailors from across the Maritimes on July 19, 20 and 21 (ILCA racing and a pre-Regatta Training Clinic on July 19).

SMSC will host the 2024 Sail East Championship and 2024 ILCA Canadian Championships at the Bay Wind Regatta this year.

SMSC is a favorite destination for young sailors from across Eastern Canada who come to our Club for Sail East and Bay Wind, and the superb championship racing we offer in the Bay.

This long-running Regatta is a much-loved event on the summer racing circuit, for keen racers, and first-timers alike.

This year’s pre-Regatta Training Clinic on July 19 offers participants the opportunity to tune up their racing skills with the support of experienced and accomplished coaches.

The Training Clinic is included in the regatta registration fees for the 29er, Club 420 (incl. green), Optimist (incl. green) classes.
